I use grub2 (grub-1.99) to boot custom kernel-2.6.39 and cannot get fedora-15 to step thru the boot processes. I tried the following two option formats without success: 1.) systemd.confirm_spawn=true 2.) init=/bin/systemd --confirm-spawn Boot services choices are displayed (Yes No Skip) but fedora-15 always displays "FAILED" & my system eventually freezes. The only way to exit the freeze is to press my reset button. The Ctrl-Alt-Del key-combo also fails. I have tried "init=/bin/systemd --confirm-spawn" on my Fedora-14 system too, but it also fails.
