opensuse 11.4 display is green with inverted or high contrast colors when I use hdmi cable, no issues with vga cable. 

my pc has intel dualcore processor, with intel g35 chipset builtin graphics card.

The issue is that we are sending audio data along the HDMI to a device that is not expecting it.

Can you please attach dmesg, Xorg.log and xrandr --verbose?
