Does a 3.0 kernel work any better? This kernel didn't work: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.0-rc2-oneiric/ Oh but it actually does work with the real current Ubuntu Onieric kernel, 3.0-3-generic. Looks like that's based on 3.0-rc5. This could be nice to have in some -stable tree, otherwise I guess it's closed?
