NOT reproducible with "LibreOffice 3.4.1RC1 - WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) German UI [OOO340m1 (Build:103)]", but the bug report is much to rare, I can't be sure to have done everything correctly. Mi modified Zoom with the zoom slider in the status bar without problems. @reporter: May I ask you to read hints on <http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport> carefully? Then please: - Write a meaningful Summary - Attach a test kit containing sample document with inserted picture - Attach screenshots with comments (you can add information using LibO DRAW and then attach your screenshot with comments as PDF) if necessary - Contribute a step by step instruction containing every key press and every mouse click how to reproduce your problem. It might save a lot of time when you contribute a presentation with screenshots and comments for every step, because currently I do not understand at all what you do: What's -- a "main Draw window"? -- Choose? from where with what menu how? -- the blue dot? The zoom slider in the status bar? - add information -- what exactly is unexpected -- and why do you believe it's unexpected -- concerning your PC (especially: video card) -- concerning your OS -- concerning your LibO localization (UI language) –- Libo settings that might be related to your problems (video hardware acceleration ...) -- how you launch LibO and how you opened the sample document -- everything else crossing your mind after you read a.m. URL Can you please file Bug reports with status UNCONFIRMED if your are not absolutely sure that you contributed all required background information and that the problem will be reproducible with information you can provide? Thank you! Sure i have been busy the last three days but should have time this weekend. Sorry for the lousy bug report. The bug is in Libra Office Draw 3.3.1 Open Susie 11.4 KDE (64 bit) distributions Steps 1. Open LibraOffice Draw 2. From the Menu bar choose File | Open 3. Choose a jpeg file. I have included a screen shot of the application. 4. Using the zoom control slide the control from its current position all the way right using the mouse. I have included a screen shot of the zoom control. Jay Still NOT reproducible, neither with with "LibreOffice 3.4.1 - WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) German UI [OOO340m1 (Build:103)]" not with a very old Portable version. LINUX specific? @tester8: We need a Linux test, can you please try? @Ukytreats: Please stop citing other comments! Please try to attach a DRAW document with picture so that we can check whether it's document related. NOT Reproduced with LO 3.4.1 (OOO340m1 (Build:101)) Ubuntu 10.04.2 x86 Linux 2.6.32-32-generic Russian UI Created attachment 48988 [details]
Test Image made in Draw
I've up loaded an image I created in Libra Office Draw which following the steps outlined in one of my previous comments that reproduces the crash. I guess when I said highly reproducible I meant on my Open Susie box. I just tried the test image on my Unity install. Ubuntu 11.04. Libra Office Draw 3.3.2 (32 bit) and it zooms without a problem. Jay @Jeffrey: AFAIR you use Open Suse? Can you please try to confirm? As I have read it can be related to KDE (especially with some themes), not to SUSE. [This is an automated message.] This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases. Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugHunting_Session_3.5.0.-1 more detail on this bulk operation: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/RFC-Operation-Spamzilla-tp3607474p3607474.html needinfo keyword redundant by needinfo status. Created attachment 48793 [details] Image that caused the crash. It's a filer for an event I will post to a website When I zoom an jpg file from the control on the bottom right of the main Draw window using the slider my session crashes and I'm presented with a log in screen. Steps. Open Libra Office. File | Open. Choose the included jpg file. It seems small so I zoom in on it by clicking the blue dot and dragging it from left to right. Before I get to 100% my session crashes. I'm running OpenSuse 11.4.KDE 64 bit, i5 processor, 4 gigs of ram, 250 gig hard drive. Highly reproducible.
