Description Dmitry 2011-07-11 11:57:03 UTC
* Sorry, for my bad English

After starting my notebook Xorg eats cpu about 0 - 20 %. Then after some time (~hour), Xorg eats about 20-30 %. After one more hour (or two) Xorg eats about 30-40 % cpu. And then after hour Xorg eats 40-50 % (50 % is max for one cpu core). Then all GUI applications begin to hang. It's impossible to work.

OS: openSUSE 11.4
XOrg: 1.9.3
Driver: "intel" 2.15 (or "intellegacy" 2.9 it doesn't matter - same situation).

Please try a newer server. We just released 1.11.1
Can you profile the server to find out where it's spending its time? If you
profile it with no applications open while it is in this state, we will get
some good information.
Is this a regression? If so, what was the last version that worked for you?

Mass closure: This bug has been untouched for more than six years, and is not obviously still valid. Please file a new report if you continue to experience issues with a current server.
