Description Mikhail 2011-07-29 18:49:58 UTC
When doing a task such as selecting several files from a file browser by clicking and moving the mouse over the items, the blue box that represents the area being selected will disappear, reappear in different places, possibly [emulate a] click on a file that the mouse is over or other undefined behavior. A similar issue exists when selecting text: selected text appears random, and sometimes it's as if i clicked on the selected text and dragged it. Furthermore, when dragging a window to a different position on the screen, it will sometimes maximize out of nowhere or do other weird things.

My system runs arch linux with kernel 2.6.39, the xf86-video-ati driver, two monitors (maybe relevant) and Gnome version 3.0.2. I can provide more info if need-be, I can't think of anything else that's relevant though.

Good advice, but be polite rather than insulting, OK?
