I've installed the OO.org extension German (de-DE frami) dictionaries and the spelling usw. correction work but before it doesn't worked.
So I think that the extension is too old. (05.05.2011)

Maybe a duplicate of 'Bug 37195 - Dictionary access lost after LibO upgrade'?

The bundled dictionaries 'German (DE-frami) spelling, hyphenation, thesaurus 2011.05.05' work fine (for me) with 
LibO 3.4.2 release [LibreOffice 3.4.2 OOO340m1 (Build:203)],
and LibO 3.4.3 RC1 [LibreOffice 3.4.3 OOO340m1 (Build:301)], on WinXP 32b.

Please open a new bug (request for enhancement) for updating the German dictionaries
- German (AT-frami) spelling, hyphenation, thesaurus
- German (CH-frami) spelling, hyphenation, thesaurus
- German (DE-frami) spelling, hyphenation, thesaurus
to the current version 2011.06.03.
