Patchwork has a "post-receive.hook" that can, when new commits are pushed, mark them as "Accepted" in patchwork. Turning on that hook for all the X.Org repositories would start to make Patchwork actually useful...

To make it work, Patchwork needs XML-RPC support, which the fd.o deployment is missing. I'm not sure whether that means fd.o has an old version of Patchwork, or just needs to turn on some option. The XML-RPC interface enables "pwclient", a command-line interface for manipulating patch statuses, which would also help quite a bit with usability.
