If I open the attached file (created by MS word 2010) with Libreoffice 3.3.3 I found some problems:
- headers are lost;
- TOC page layout is differents;

[This is an automated message.]
This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it
started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is
changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back
to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases.
Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at:
http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugHunting_Session_3.5.0.-1

This is a Writer issue, therefore changed the 'Component' field accordingly.

@Fabio Graziosi:
Thank you very much for your report! I'm sorry that it has not been answered for a long time, but we don't have enough QA volunteers to handle all that bugs ...

However, there are good news: There has been much progress about the import of .docx files in the last months. If I open your sample file with LibreOffice 3.5.4, I get the impression that it looks much more like in MS Office 2010 than before; e.g., the headers are present now.

Could you please try this yourself?

Just download the current version of LibreOffice (3.5.4, or, in some days, 3.5.5 with even more fixes) and open the your file. Please report here anything which still looks wrong.

This would be very helpful! Thank you very much in advance!

I can partly reproduce this bug with Version 4.1.0.0.alpha0+ (Build ID: c57906c8f614047a488eea6eb77c535bf90a889):
1. Footer is shown only on page 1, while in Word it appears on all pages
2. Table of contents is misplaced (appears on page 1 but should be on top of page 2).
3. Table of contents' numbers are stuck to titles (e.g. "1SCOPO" instead of "1 SCOPO") while in Word there is some space between number and caption.

I think this bug can be reopened.

Never confirmed - moving to UNCONFIRMED so QA looks at it. Thanks

Hi Ruslan,
Could you please attach a screenshot/screenshots of how the document renders in Word for comparison? Thanks!

> 1. Footer is shown only on page 1, while in Word it appears on all pages

TESTING using LibreOffice Version: 4.4.0.0.alpha1 + Ubuntu 14.04

I see the "Poliform Pag. <N>" footer on pages 1 and 2, but not on subsequent pages. Is that the behavior you see?

> 2. Table of contents is misplaced (appears on page 1 but should be on top of
> page 2).

The table of contents appears on page 2 for me. Perhaps something fixed since LO 4.1?

> 3. Table of contents' numbers are stuck to titles (e.g. "1SCOPO" instead of
> "1 SCOPO") while in Word there is some space between number and caption.

I see a table on page 5 that (probably incorrectly) extends off the right-hand side of the page.

Ruslan: I'm going to stick this bug into NEEDINFO status. Once you attach those screenshots, please change the status back to UNCONFIRMED, and then we can complete the triage of this bug.
