Presumably the 'stock' 7.11 you're referring to just doesn't have this error reporting (which BTW usually indicates an application bug) enabled. I can confirm your findings, git mesa and mesa 7.11 do exhibit the warning, while the debian package does not. There's no difference when using llvmpipe, although I was sure of the exact opposite yesterday. You can close this bug, sorry for the spam.
