The extension string tells me you don't have Mesa git. What you have is Mesa 7.9 or older. I recommend upgrading to the 7.11 branch or master. Created attachment 52196 [details]

Sorry, the opengl_ext file was just a old file previously generated by the game. Have a look at spring_log/glxinfo i've updated mesa to latest commit, same result, tested with 7.11 same result. But with mesa 7.10.3 there are no more these corruptions OpenGL vendor string: X.Org R300 Project OpenGL renderer string: Gallium 0.4 on ATI RV530 OpenGL version string: 2.1 Mesa 7.10.3 OpenGL shading language version string: 1.20 so regression introduced between 7.10.3 and 7.11. With 7.10.3 there are some minor corruption like vertical lines on the left and grey square under the cursor but nothing major (screenshot3). I suspect I will file a bug for these after this bug.
