Created attachment 53683 [details] i915_error_state triggered by gtkperf I got 100% repeatable problem with 2.17.0 and sna when running with xcompmgr as composite manager. The GPU hung occurs just after gtkperf GtkDrawingArea benchmark is started: kernel (3.1.1) [ 2250.845017] [drm:i915_hangcheck_elapsed] *ERROR* Hangcheck timer elapsed... GPU hung [ 2250.845024] [drm] capturing error event; look for more information in /debug/dri/0/i915_error_state [ 2251.349017] [drm:i915_reset] *ERROR* Failed to reset chip. Xorg.0.log (xserver 1.11.2): [ 2250.845] (EE) intel(0): Detected a hung GPU, disabling acceleration. [ 2250.845] (EE) intel(0): When reporting this, please include i915_error_state from debugfs and the full dmesg.
