Description Olaf Leidinger 2005-08-31 23:49:11 UTC
I've created an PDF-file with semi-transparent areas and some solid gradients.
These trasparent areas are placed in front of the gradients. The latter have
some stripes on them. It seems as if the background color shines through.

I've noticed that problem using evince-0.4, poppler-0.4.1 and cairo-1.0.

btw.: nice to see support for transparency in poppler ;-)

This problem no longer appears to occur for me (testing with a recent Git checkout).

If you are still seeing the problem (after an update), please re-open this bug report, and add whatever new detail you can.

Thanks.

Brad, this would be a cairo backend problem and splash doesn't show this. Also, the problem (poppler should use cairo gradients) hasn't been fixed, so I'm reopening this one.
Comment 7 Brad Hards 2007-11-06 11:59:03 UTC
Moving to the cairo backend component.

The doc uses axial shading patterns. It's the same as #10942. Let's track this in the same bug.
