At the very least, it works for me with UIM 1.8.0 fresh from git (Mar 13, 52b5b6aa) and Wine 1.4 from *buntu 12.04b precise universe repositories. Please see the attached screenshot.
The only way I can get it *not* to work is to unset XMODIFIERS. I assume you had your environment variables set up properly and uim-xim was running?
Errata: UIM is release-wise naturally still version 1.7.3. 'uim-xim --help' reports 1.8.0, however, and that was where I was looking. Apologies for the extra noise. Thank you! Looks like've I messed up. I launch Xorg as one user but wine programs work under another user account. XMODIFIERS weren't set for the wine user. Now it works! |
