Description Eugene Savelov 2005-09-06 10:49:52 UTC
I'm running fedora core4 for powerpc.

When I remove loading of dri driver in xorg.conf, everything is fine

When I load it, radeon driver detects PLL parameters only in 20-30% of times.

otherwise, the screen is garbled, error "You may not have enough display
bandwidth for current mode" is written in log file

Comment 7 Eugene Savelov 2005-09-22 23:19:50 UTC
can this patch be incorporated in future 6.8 xorg releases? Without this
detection DRI doesn't work on Radeon 9200 on Macs (not enough bandwidth).

Feel free to nominate the patch for the 6.8 branch (click the 'Edit' link next
to the attachment, and set the '6.8-branch' flag to '?'), but don't put any high
hopes in any more 6.8 releases forthcoming...
