There has been some discussion about this on the mesa-dev mailing list (see link below). The current thinking is that the Gentoo build is not running automake before running configure, and that is the problem. The most likely fix is for Gentoo to update their Mesa build setup. http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/mesa-dev/2012-January/016788.html Sorry for the noise. The ebuild already calls autoreconf was mentioned in the mailing list. I created Gentoo bug for this and referenced this bug. https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=397697 It was a problem in the Gentoo autotools script that got confused by lack of Makefile.in |
