Description Laurence Vanek 2005-09-14 22:57:26 UTC
Display corruption in gnome session using firefox & thunderbird apps. In
firefox (version 1.0.6) enlarging image causes corruption to disappear.
Clicking on image to return to original size produces corruption again.
Corruption in thunderbird restricted to scroll bars. Is reporducible. Other app
image views do not show the corruption.

Running Fedora Core 4 (updated), kernel 2.6.12-1.1447_FC4, xorg 6.8.2, nvidia
kernel module installed with nvidia installer.

issue with composite built-in extension?

the latest trial release from xorg (xorg-x11-6.8.2-37.FC4.49.1) did not solve
this problem.

update:

This turned out to be an intermittent graphics card glitch that eventually lead
to the failure of the card. New card does not exhibit problem.
