Screenshot of the corruption
Oh I forgot to mention. The corruption goes away if I switch to another console like with Ctrl+Alt+F1 and then back to Ctrl+alt+F7. This is not only on AMD64 but also on i386 (see aforementioned Mandriva bug entry for more info, including log file). Also, the proprietary nvidia driver does not exhibit this problem. I reported this not too long ago on Fedora Core's bugzilla, only to find it here a little while later: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=169317 The problem is not x86_64 specific, but occurs on all architectures, and on GeForce 6200, 6600, and 6800 hardware, perhaps others as well. Here is our master bug for tracking this: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=geforce-6x00 |
