Description Nicholas Oh 2005-09-26 05:48:16 UTC
Tested with poppler ver. 0.4.0, 0.4.1, and 0.4.2
Using evince ver. 0.4.0 and specially developed 'pdf to ps exporter'

1. when printing out the whole document
 - the font has been changed and the italic & the bold effect of letters
disappeared (partially)

2. when printing out the first page only
 - the all the fonts in the page have been changed and various font effects
disappeared
 - the blank spaces between letters are not modified (narrowed)

* These problems did not seem to occur with poppler ver. 0.3.3.

After experimenting with converting the document to PS format, it seems to me
that these problems occur when converting to PS format.
Opening the PS file with evince results in conversion to the same format with
the incorrect printout results above.
When printing out the first page only, the symptoms are worse as described above.

It seems to be same issue as bug 4555
Comment 2 Kristian Høgsberg 2005-10-07 09:06:33 UTC
Could you try the latest cvs from either the 0.4 branch or cvs head? This bug
looks like a dupe of bug 4555. Thanks.

I'm closing this bug, assuming it was a dupe of bug 4555.
