A space is a valid char. Both Gnome and KDE handle it propperly. On the terminal you must escape it either by quoting the path: "/foo/bar/my space path/" or by escaping the space: /foo/bar/my\ space\ path. If no one has a counter claim to this, this bug should probably be closed. There's no good reason to keep the space character. It serves no purpose, and we're trying to be as cross-platform-friendly as possible here. Additionally, in this case, there's no reason to keep that _directory_ at all; it has only one image in it, which ought to be moved to the parent directory. the directory layout will be changed when the releases are developed for ccHost. Hence this issue will not be an issue anymore. im resolving this to "LATER" Mass reopen. The "LATER" resolution is lame, I'm deleting it. Consider LATER to have arrived. Closing all openclipart bugs as openclipart is now on launchpad, as per request from Jon Philips. |
