Description Dotan Cohen 2012-02-16 10:58:30 UTC
When tracking changes in LO, the user can choose to show or not show the changes. When the changes are shown, new text appears with an underline and removed text appears with a strikethrough.

Please allow users to collapse the strikethrough text, such that it can be seen _where_ text was removed but do not expand it to show the original text. I recommend a small triangle marker similar to that used to designate where comments exist, however in a different colour.

This feature is important as the omitted text itself makes reading the revised copy difficult, however it is important to know where text was removed. Enabling and disabling the collapse should be available from the main menu, and it should be able to have a keyboard accelerator assigned.

Thank you.

I like the idea, I don't think I've ever seen this implemented but I have routinely thought similarly that it's difficult to read a document that has show changes on. Going to mark as NEW and leave the priority at Medium.
