It seems that it is the same problem as here - https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45049 I would say the worst "new feature" in Libreoffice 3.5, except some strange "improvements" in pivot tables and interpretation of function "+" and "sum" in calc, which were introduced already in 3.4 @ Pierre Farrugia Thanks for bugreport Please, attach odt file that demonstrates this problem (for test purposes) (In reply to comment #2) > @ Pierre Farrugia > Thanks for bugreport > Please, attach odt file that demonstrates this problem (for test purposes) You can see sample files here https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45049 It looks exactly the same from description Thanks for additional information Steps to reproduce: 0. Open https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=55924 1. Insert->Cross reference 2. In area Type select "Attels" 3. See on area "Selection" Expected: 2 lines "1" and "Attels 2" Actually: 2 lines both without first character in name Reproduced in 3.5.3 on Fedora 64 bit not reproduced in 3.3.4 , therefore regression Created attachment 62095 [details]
Sample of file where bug occurs
Hi,
Please find attached a sample of the file (the whole file was too large to upload). Kindly note that both the figures and the equations did not show properly in the cross reference when I used 3.5.X versions.
You might also note that at the beginning a problem with the java run time environment version might emerge. This occurred because the original file was converted from a Microsoft Word document. I never reported the problem since I could always safely ignore the error.
Should you have any other request please let me know.
Regards,
Pierre
Thanks for attachment Problem described in comment 4 reproducible Formulas corrupted: IMHO document contains corrupted WMF files Table of content begins to work correctly when right mouse click->Update PS: if I have overseen some problem, please, attach screenshot of it (In reply to comment #6) > Thanks for attachment > Problem described in comment 4 reproducible > Formulas corrupted: IMHO document contains corrupted WMF files > Table of content begins to work correctly when right mouse click->Update > > PS: if I have overseen some problem, please, attach screenshot of it Table of contents looks fine in LibreOffice 3.5.4.2 Build ID: 165a79a-7059095-e13bb37-fef39a4-9503d18 The problem with cross-references is exactly the same as described here https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=45049 and here https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=48847 and here https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=47042 and here https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50139 And it would be great if this one (https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50144) would be solved at the same time.
