Description sasha.libreoffice 2012-02-29 06:23:52 UTC
Created attachment 57806 [details]
test case of unexpected pictures

Steps to reproduce:
0. Open attached doc file
1. See at the bottom of document
Expected: no pictures there
Actually: some pictures present

Source of problem: Word allows to place all type of objects outside of page margin. It is completely normally in Word to select picture or any other object and move it outside of page. Object becomes unseen and non-printable, but still exist. When Writer opens such document, it changes positions of objects so that they fit completely inside of page. Writer not allows object to be outside of page even partially.

So, until such restriction in Writer remains, this bug can not be fixed.

Confirmed with LibO 3.3.4, 3.4.5, and 3.5.1 Beta 1 (Windows XP / Vista 64). Two pictures are displayed.

Windows 2007: no pictures are displayed.
