Description Jean-François Fortin Tam 2012-03-18 14:17:21 UTC
On a Thinkpad X220 with a built-in microphone and speakers, a test with empathy and sofiasip reveals that echo cancellation does not work at all.

This is on Fedora 16 with the following packages:
-farsight 0.0.19
-mission-control 5.10.1
-rakia 0.7.3

echo cancellation is done using a pulseaudio plugin. Which version of PA were you using?
Comment 2 Jean-François Fortin Tam 2012-03-19 19:24:48 UTC
This is pulseaudio 0.9.23.
Comment 3 Jean-François Fortin Tam 2012-03-19 19:26:08 UTC
...and I'm an idiot for blindly assuming that the version of pulseaudio provided in Fedora was the latest :)
