Screen clipping on xfce4 terminal

GPU: NV34GLM [GeForce FX Go 5300]
mesa-8.0.2 with gallium built
kernel: 3.2.2-hardened-r1

The computer has a internel LVDS screen which is explicitly disabled at boot using a modeset, the main screen is connected by VGA.

Some applications (like evince in fullscreen, the xfce terminal and gnome-mplayer) are clipped to around half screen height. Everything else renders just fine. Please see the pictures in the attachments for a better description.

I forgot to add that the computer (a laptop) has the TFT screen removed. the graphics card has, by this reason, its ?LVDS? cable disconnected.

Thanks!

Looks like you filed another bug with more detailed information about the same issue. Marking this as the dup of the better bug (and one I've already asked a follow-up question on)
