Description reaktor 2005-10-28 12:34:23 UTC
xorg distorts window graphics on NVidia Go6200 with shared memory.
After a couple of minutes the graphics from some programs is like a crashed
computer, but the programs seems to work properly.I press the buttons(i remember
where they are placed) Or i use the menus. Some time this happens on background
image
Its like *something* writes on memory that supposed to be restricted to xorg
graphics only.
When I switch to VT (Ctrl+F1) and back to X again all graphics seems ok until
'crashed' again after some minutes (It depents on how many programs I run at
this time)
This all happens in native resolution 1280x800@58 on my SONY VAIO laptop FS215S
I try many xorg versions on many linux distros compiled in many diferent ways
(gentoo USE flags). This problem does not appear with XFree.

Closing the bug due to the lack of activity from the bug submitter. If you're
still experiencing this with a current version of xorg and nvidia driver, attach
your xorg log and conf.

Closing it for real this time :)
