Description David Ronis 2012-05-01 14:12:31 UTC
I'm trying to build cairo-1.12.2 as part of my upgrade to gnome-3.5.1. The build files with:

make[5]: Entering directory `/home/ronis/Project/notar/GNOME/garnome/freedesktop/cairo/work/main.d/cairo-1.12.2/test'
  CCLD any2ppm
libtool: link: cannot find the library `/opt/garnome-3.4.0/lib/libcairo.la' or unhandled argument `/opt/garnome-3.4.0/lib/libcairo.la'

There's some screw-up--current cairo hasn't been installed yet (well actually it was, but I uninstalled before starting the build).

I manually removed test from the various directory lists in the main Makefile and the problem goes away (no surprise) and the build and subsequent install complete.
