My laptop HP nx6110 has a wide screen. When I connect to an LCD projector,
running Fedora Core 4 with xorg ver. 6.8.2, only a part of the screen is visible
(LCD projector is not wide screen). On the other hand when running Windows XP,
it automatically switch to the size of the LCD hence no problem in viewing.
Is this a bug? If not I will be very grateful if you inform me how to go around
this problem. I am in a great need.

specify some non-widescreen modes in your xorg.conf then use xrandr to change
the size of your desktop when you use the beamer.
