Please put the following snippet in your /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/99-ungrab-synaptics.conf Section "InputClass" Identifier "dont grab synaptics" MatchDriver "synaptics" Option "GrabEventDevice" "off" EndSection if you don't have an xorg.conf this shouldn't have any negative effect, it simply means that other processes can listen to the synaptics device while the driver is running. next time the pointer is moving around, fire up evtest and check the synaptics event device. If you see events come out of the device, then this is really a hardware issue though it'll help attaching the evtest output here to see if there's anything we can do. http://wiki.freedesktop.org/wiki/Evtest This is a mass change of bugs. Bugs assigned to me that haven't been updated in the last 3 years are closed as WONTFIX, because, well, let's at least be honest about it. Please do not re-open unless you have a really good reason to do so (e.g. you're fixing it yourself). If it hasn't been fixed in the last 3 years, it probably won't be fixed anytime soon either. Sorry. |
