The Piglit test, which I ran the first time with a non-LLVM-backend build on 2012-05-20 (git/239792fb) has the state "warn" as a result. In the "errors" column the following is recorded:

> EE r600_state.c:309 r600_translate_colorswap - unsupported colorswap format 93
> EE r600_state.c:309 r600_translate_colorswap - unsupported colorswap format 30

The test still shows the same output with the LLVM-backend build of today (git/0f6a3a7d)

Please see bug 50312, comment #0 for the used software stack and hardware in today's test run.

I don't have the open driver installed right now and I don't have much time to write code either. Just wanted to let you know, this could be easily fixed by backporting this evergreen fix to r600:
