Description Sean Walton 2012-06-08 16:02:35 UTC
After installing, I open the Writer, and after a minute I get a Windows message that the application failed.
Is there a way to run the Writer with debugging on?

Before debugging, it could be useful you give some details like :
- which Windows version (XP, Vista, Seven ...) ?
- which LO version number ?
- Did you have a previous LO version ?
- Did you install any LO specific extension ?
Comment 2 Sean Walton 2012-06-10 14:46:08 UTC
Windows 7
I don't know what LO is. I got the standard English edition, if that helps.
I have 3.4.6, and it gets uninstalled.

"LO" = shortcut to tell "Libreoffice"
So could you try last version of Libreoffice (3.5.4) ? (perhaps it could be interesting you try with a brand new Libreoffice profile, see http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile)

I am afraid that we could not do much here without more information, so I am closing the bug.

Feel free to reopen it if you see the same problem with the last release 3.5.4 or newer build. Also please, add the information if it helped to use fresh user configuration.
