fix for non-sse capable i386 machines ajax: 6.9/7.0+

Description Xavier Bachelot 2005-11-19 01:54:42 UTC
The produced code is not running on non-SSE capable i386 machines, as reported
in this thread on xorg ml :
http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/xorg/2005-July/008760.html

The patch attached to the mail did not applied to latest rc (6.9rc2), so I've
modified it. Please find the updated version attached to these bug.
It has been tested on a VIA Ezra cpu.

I would be inclined to mark this bug as a blocker for 6.9/7.0 release.

The patch in this bug fixes the problem I reported in 5099. My X server comes
up and seems to work normally. It would be great if this fix got into
6.9/7.0.
