Running testdisplay –a with a external VGA display.
The following modes can’t light up normally.

revert the 'moar modes' series

Please test this combined revert patch for this bug and any other recent bug report where we fail to light up some funky modes, i.e. #51490, #51491, #51493, #51499

Test with the combined revert patch and all the VGA modes listed (testdisplay -i) can light up normally.

All the VGA modes listed (testdisplay -i) can light up normally on Sandy bridge and IronLake.
