Description Bruce 2012-07-24 02:02:19 UTC
Problem description:

Steps to reproduce:
1. downloaded libreoffice Main Installer
2. ran installer it fails in "copy files" with an error "Libreoffice 1 cab file is corrupt"
3. I downloaded the file 3 times to be sure I did not have an error in the download itself.

Current behavior: see above

Expected behavior: I expected it to finish completely.

Platform (if different from the browser): Windows 7

Browser: Firefox/14.0.1

I had to uninstall all Libreoffice files and directories and reinstall 3.5.4 which worked correctly.

I did not encounter this issue. Fair enough that you downloaded 3 times, but are you sure your mirror had an un-corrupted copy? Did you check the MD5 sum and/or the digital signature of MSI package?
