Description Benjamin Close 2012-08-17 06:41:27 UTC
Apache on anarchy keeps wedging. This is a place holder bug to both log how often the wedging occurs and also to be used as a reminder to sysadmins it needs fixing.

Temp script in place to check apache isn't hung run from root's cron. Worst case is 7 mins downtime (check timeout 2 mins, cronjob every 5)

apache seems to hang about once every 2 hours. Still trying to find cause. Looks like varnish providing a noticeable improvement on apache's uptime

added processes=2 to wsgi config (fdo macro). Seems more stable.. time will tell
Comment 10 Tim Müller 2013-03-06 09:03:16 UTC
This still seems to be a major problem. "Error 503 Service Unavailable" still happens regularly and way too often, even for static content.

This problem has gone away with the move to ikiwiki, so closing.
