When for some reason, canberra's pulse backend doesn't initialize in a timely fashion, opening menus in firefox leads to several seconds delays because firefox calls ca_context_play for the event.id menu-popup (and menu-click when you further click on an item). The UI hangs during driver_open, which happens before ca_lookup_sound is called to finally return CA_ERROR_NOTFOUND.
