Description Jonny Lamb 2012-08-24 17:30:26 UTC
15:54 <Robot101> did smcv file some salut bugs recently regarding IPv6 connections being opened without scope, so they failed

or:

Contacts give scope local addresses to other contacts but we don't connect with the right scope so it doesn't work. :-(

15:49 < jonnylamb> smcv: not having much luck with scope ids here.
15:49 < jonnylamb> smcv: I'm starting to wonder if avahi is actually giving us them
15:49 < jonnylamb> smcv: given http://git.0pointer.de/?p=avahi.git;a=blob;f=avahi-core/socket.c;hb=HEAD#l96 ...
15:51 < smcv> jonnylamb: sigh. ok, so that bug is unsolvable...

https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=644912 seems potentially relevant.
