Crap. Wrong MIME of PNG image. Ivan Timofeev committed a patch related to this issue. It has been pushed to "master": http://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=dd2a12d5199c36950b1480a9aab96e07dc4afcd2 KDESalGraphics: transparent background for some widgets, fdo#55952 The patch should be included in the daily builds available at http://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/ in the next 24-48 hours. You can fix mimetype by clicking attachment details > edit details > and type the correct one.
