the issue still can reproduced on Ubuntu12.04 with the latest mesa.

Hi, this doesn't change the fact that you are not using the latest gst-vaapi, neither 0.4.0 which included the fixes.

Is that considered as "the latest gst-vaapi"?

No, the latest 0.4.0 release tag is 3290655, which is 27 commits ahead of what Ouping mentioned. The fixes appeared as 5db2e93 and a6a1ea0.
