I 'm trying to upgrade cairo from version to 1.12.8 on a gnome-3.7.1 platform running slackware. The build goes fine except for the load of anytoppm. I get: make[5]: Entering directory `/home/ronis/Project/notar/GNOME/garnome/freedesktop/cairo/work/main.d/cairo-1.12.8/test' CCLD any2ppm libtool: link: cannot find the library `/opt/garnome-3.7/lib/libcairo.la' or unhandled argument `/opt/garnome-3.7/lib/libcairo.la' make[5]: *** [any2ppm] Error 1 This has to happen because cairo hasn't been installed yet. Shouldn't the test be linked against some local version of the lib? Oops, I forgot to add the earlier version number, it's 1.12.4. |
