This is not only the case on a Netbook, it's the same on my Notebook with a "normal" resolution. These Comboboxes just need some more padding. Thanks for reporting! We can't reproduce this bug with version 3.6.4.3 and 4.1 latest branch (both tested on 2 systems). The combobox size is reduced in version 4.0 and later, but your problem isn't reproducible. Is it possible to retest with latest 4.0 versions (beta 2 or later). If you still have the same problem, please REOPEN this bug. Until then -> WORKSFORME. Thanks in advance! Thanks for testing also. I have a Master build and there the problem is still there. I'm at Ubuntu and it might have to do with the Ubuntu font, since this font is used there. On which system did you test? Oh, I forgot to mention that: Ubuntu 12.10 x64.
I don't have any problems with font names that are longer then the combobox...
Also tested with Liberation Serif etc; No problems with that :s.
Also tested with other styles (Heading 1, Heading 2, ...).

Ah, maybe I wasn't clear with the problem, I see the same problem in your screenshot. The problem is that the Combobox is not high enough, it cuts the letters at the top and at the bottom. For example, with "Default Style", the "y" is cut-off a bit at the bottom. Same with the "g" from "Heading". In German, the jots from the "Ü" from "Überschrift" are cut-off so that it looks like "Uberschrift". Thanks for REOPENING. And sorry for my misunderstanding. It's indeed cutted off. I changed the version to 3.6.4.3, because that's the oldest version I can reproduce right now. Thanks for reporting! Marked bug as NEW |

Created attachment 70031 [details] Screenshot of Style, Font name and size Comboboxes On a netbook with 1024x600px resolution the text in the Comboboxes in Writer is cut-off at the top, bottom and right (Font size). Style should be "Überschrift 1", not "Uberschrift 1". OS is Ubuntu 12.10. Screenshot attached.
