Xorg server segfault log

I recently filed a bug on the KDE bug tracker (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=310666) about this: When I resize a Konsole window, X crashes with a segfault. This does not occur upon maximizing or un-maximizing. Probably predictably, Christoph from the KDE bug tracker redirected me here.

I now tried this with several other terminal emulators: Just starting gnome-terminal crashes the X server, the Xfce terminal also crashes X on being resized. xterm and urxvt work just fine.

Thus, the explanation from the KDE bug tracker seems pretty reasonable: The applications causing a crash support transparency (most terminal emulators nowaday do so, except e.g. xterm and urxvt) which is unsupported by my driver (which would be fglrx/catalyst 12.11).

Now, alas, I guess I can't be expecting too much to be done for a proprietary driver, however, it still is a bug and this form even offers me the opportunity to file one for fglrx specifically.

I'm running the Xorg server 1.13.0 on Arch Linux (kernel 3.6.7).

The last lines of the Xorg log are attached.
