Created attachment 71410 [details] Xorg Log I am having an issue wherein the GPU will hand during normal use of my computer. Arch Linux x86-64 Kernel 3.6.9 KDE 4.9.4 At random points when using the computer, the GPU driver will hang and everything will revert to software rendering, causing everything to run unusably slow until Xorg is restarted. It sometimes happens multiple times a day and sometimes only happens once every few days. This latest time it happened, I was using Firefox. dmesg returns the following : [290082.779837] [drm:i915_hangcheck_hung] *ERROR* Hangcheck timer elapsed... GPU hung [290082.779844] [drm] capturing error event; look for more information in /debug/dri/0/i915_error_state
