Hello,

I am testing lastest kernel 3.7 into a fedora 17 , i686, nouveau , kde

The same problem using vanilla 3.7 and fedora rpmtools kernel 3.7.0-1

Boots starts, and it shows,

[]nouveau, enable msi not supported
[]Failed to start Wait for Plymouth Boot Screen to Quit

system totally freezed ...

dmesg logs don't show any info message

i can't start X from level 3 ... if i remove all nouveau files the problem appears too

Just remove msi parameter from kernel command line/modprobe configuration...

Do it , and still broken...

I've remove all config files about nouveau and not working 

:(

Working without problems f17 , 3.6.8 series ...
3.7.0 not working

configuration .. no nouveau files in system, and no kind of config reference, like neither msi nor similar

kernel 3.7.1
shows the message , two or three times .. why? 
but it boots

why kernel 3.6.11 i can see nouveau using msi interrupts and with 3.7.1 io-apic?

It seems like there was two bugs. The first bug was modesetting-related and got fixed. The second one is about msi interrupts and some motherboards do not support them properly IIRC. This may not be our bug so let's close this bug report.
