Description Thomas Rohloff 2012-12-22 18:20:34 UTC
This is caused by this mesa commit: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/commit/?id=24b1206ab2dcd506aaac3ef656aebc8bc20cd27a and kernel 3.8-rc1.

I would love if this could be fixed fast as I have another, more important bug that I need to test against newest mesa git, which isn't possible as I can't go above the commit.

Mesa hadn't previously emitted that register for cayman so the kernel wasn't expecting it. Fixed with this patch:
http://cgit.freedesktop.org/~agd5f/linux/commit/?h=drm-fixes-3.8&id=668bbc81baf0f34df832d8aca5c7d5e19a493c68
Which should show up in 3.8 and stable soon.
