I noticed my RV530 get "upgraded" by mesa to a R580:
GL_RENDERER   = Gallium 0.4 on ATI R580

Up to some days ago it was correctly reported as a RV530. Possible regression of http://cgit.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/commit/?id=ca474f98f2cda5cb333e9f851c7e0e31c9a6f823

Confirm. My rv350 is detected as rv370.
