Meh. I'm running x86/i386/IA32 on an AMD64. I'm using Xorg 6.8.2 with binary fglrx driver on an X700. I'll have a look with changing drivers, and then I'll run poppler through a debugger? Errr, what's happening with bugzilla? Why does my comment have your name? Strange as that a similar setup to mine, did you change from cairo backend to general on purpose, that is you tried gtk-splash-test and it does not work there either? I think there seem to be some date/time problems with bugzilla. Anyway, I've just tried gtk-cairo-test and gtk-splash-test, with the referenced PDF. splash displays the first page correctly, cairo does not. The former displays pretty background colours and everything. The latter just displays black. I can't reproduce with CVS, can you? Everything to the left of the shift column has a black background making the text indistinguishable. Some of the cells to the right also have this problem. This appears to be a distinct from bug 4348, though the same PDF is at question. I am also experiencing similar bugs in other PDFs. See https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=3165 Using Evince 0.4.0 using poppler 0.4.5 (cairo) on Debian GNU/Linux sid/unstable. CVS of 2006-02-18 seems to work |
