(In reply to comment #5) It's not that I am a dev or something, but you should first consider upgrading the kernel. Releases from 3.8-rc2 to 3.8-rc6 include lot of fixes and maybe it could solve your problems. Does setting the environment variable R600_LLVM=0 or building Mesa without --enable-r600-llvm-compiler work around the problem? Created attachment 74247 [details]
