Description Corey Richardson 2013-02-05 03:52:48 UTC
Ran piglet (d2250db) on the 9.1 branch (1003652). Kernel 3.8-rc5

Results available at: http://octayn.net/9.1-piglit

Any additional information I can provide, let me know (should I run it on 9.0 stable to provide baseline maybe?)

It's unrealistic to expect all piglit tests to pass, so I'm afraid this report isn't useful.

Piglit is mostly useful in two ways:

* Regression testing, i.e. when a certain test used to pass but now fails, it's good to try and get to the bottom of that and fix it.

* Specific tests reproducing failures which also affect real world apps. It's usually easier to fix problems by investigating piglit tests than more complex apps.

In both cases though, individual bugs should be reported for specific tests, not a single one for all results as a whole.
