I think we are talking about something similar as we already have for the pivot table. There we have a selector "Results to", where it can be selected where the pivot table should appear. @bugquestcontri is my assumption correct? I am not aware of the pivot table issue, thus, cannot sat Yes or NO. This requires to support chart sheets and is a big task. It is part of our GSoC ideas but I have no idea if there will be a student applying for it. It requires us to rework how we handle sheets in calc core. I am sorry to hear that this requires a major change. I keep fingers crossed that someone applies for this job because it really would be a very nice feature. Especially the part "beside data AND in a separate sheet. (not available in EXCEL thus a unique feature of Calc)" |
